On this episode of the Extraordinary Culture podcast, it’s a new year for both the podcast and Xavier as he officially turns old. A new year means a new us, (not really), but we feature two new segments that you can enjoy with us. Disney raises its prices, does that mean we will no longer go? The new Mary Poppins film came out, but feels old? Aquaman swam into theaters and Dan gives his thoughts. Ghostbusters might have a sequel and we finally see a trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home. A new Star Wars (fan) film came out, but we still have no idea where an Episode IX trailer is at. Reel Big Fish released a new album that sounds like an old album, which isn’t a bad thing. We cover that and what we’ve been listening to and what shows we are heading out to soon. “Mean” Gene Okerlund unfortunately passed away, we share some memories and discuss the newest promotion to hit the wrestling scene, but will it be dampened by Punk Rock Bowling? The two teams for the ”Big Game” are set what are our thoughts since we are all Raiders fans? Rick talks about Antone’s in Riverside and we have a short interview with Matt from Chino Valley Brewery. This month we share two beers, Belching Beaver’s Fall of Troy, an orange vanilla milkshake and Pizza Port’s Shark Bite, a delicious red ale. We feature music again this month from the B Sharps, a ska band from Riverside and Teenage Bottlerocket because, well, we can. All this and more on this episode of the Extraordinary Culture podcast. Thanks to our sponsors Crown and Stache Barber Company, Chino Valley Brewery, and Made Shop Riverside.
